1. What is Dynamic Calendar?

 The purpose of this program is to show events in a calendar format.
 You can Add to the Calendar, Birthdays, Holidays, Activities, System
 down times and anything else you wish to add ( limited only to your
 imagination!), etc... The email purpose is to provide a link to
 the poster - people can get more info and send that poster email,
 etc...  Same
 with the URL. Like if you wanted to have a Chat on a BBS you could
 put the URL to that BBS in for example. Or anything else you want
 to use it for (again limited to your imagination).

  - Dynamic Calendar is a wcCode version 5.0+ program that will let
    you or anyone (your users) to create an Event for any Month/Year.
    A user simply fills out the Calendar form, and a Dynamic Event is
    created for him/her. The Event can be Viewed, Edited/Modified at
    anytime you wish (until the day after the Event!).

  - Dynamic Calendar uses DHTML (Dynamic HTML) the state-of-the-art
    technology to create Dynamic Events for you or your users on the
    fly.
    Novices and experts alike can create their own events on your
    server within minutes.
    It doesn't take any special skills to use this program
    and that's one of the great thing about this program!
    Anyone can use this program with ease
    (people of all ages with no computer skills!!!).

  - A HTML page that shows what the created Event looks like is
    generated on the fly.

   - Up to 3 security profiles can be denied from using this service.

  - Can be configured to be used by "logged-in" users only or as
    "Public" service.

  - Easy to setup for *ALL* Novice SysOps & WebMasters!

 2. Configuration File:
 ==============================================
 This program is totally configurable by the Sysop through the
 Calendar CFG file.
 A simple text file (included) that the SysOp can edit to suit
 his/her system. Please open the CFG file in Notepad or any other
 ASCII text editor and modify it to your needs.
 Instruction can be found in that file taking you step by step in the
 Configuration (Very Easy!).

 3. File in this Archive:
 ==============================================
 1. html-calendar.wcx (the actual program)
 2. html-calendar-post.wcx
 3. calendar.cfg (configuration file)
 4. calendar.txt (calendar documenatation in ASCII)
 5. *.txt - make sure to read all the docs!
 6. *.gif - various graphics

 4. Installation:
 ==============================================
 1. Copy all the *.wcx and *.cfg files to your wildcat directory
    (make sure that the long file names are intact in the unzipping
    process or the program WON'T work!).
    Use a 32 bit UNZIP program or you will lose the Long File names
    that are needed for this program to work!

 2. Edit Calendar.cfg as required. Make sure to create the directory
    per line #2 (let's call it the Calendar directory).
    Copy (all files) the rest of the Archive to this directory.

 3. Create a link (use the <B> and </B> to make the letters BOLD).
    You can change or modify text color, size, placement, etc...
    to your liking:
    <A HREF="/code/html-Calendar"><B>
    *NEW* Make a Dynamic Calendar Event(s)
    </B></A>

    You can also add a Graphic to this link if you wish
    (add the path if    needed:

    <A HREF="/code/html-Calendar">
    <img src="/public/calendar/graphic.gif">
    BORDER=0 ALT="Calendar Events" align=middle
    <B>*NEW* Dynamic Calendar </B></A>

 NOTE: If you don't want to give access to "Public" users
       (IE., not logged- in) change "/public/code/html-calendar" to
       "/code/html-calendar"

    We recommend that you create a Calendar Event for yourself to
    familiarize yourself with the program and to make sure all is
    working properly.
