Why waste time signing checks? With Signature on a Disk, you
can use your IBM PC to print 100 signatures on checks or cover
letters in five minutes, its developer reports. The program,
which Creative Software says is an inexpensive alternative to
dedicated devices, doesn't come with printer drivers; instead
Signature output directly addresses the printer, providing an
exact replica of a scanned or digitized signature.

Because you'd want to protect your signature, the program
requires two passwords and lets you specify an expiration date.
You can also select the number of times the signature can be
used.

Signature on a Disk runs on the IBM PC with 256K bytes of RAM
and 9-pin, 24-pin, and laser printers.

Price: $129.
