If your DOS computer runs Aldus PageMaker or Ventura Publisher,
but your printer can't accept the PostScript-language files these
programs generate, try Kagema's Freedom of Press.

Freedom of Press is a PostScript interpreter that runs on the
IBM AT and most PostScript-compatible dot-matrix, ink-jet, and
laser printers. It supports color. For example, you can print
PostScript output from Aldus PageMaker, Ventura Publisher, or GEM
Artline on a Hewlett-Packard LaserJet II, PaintJet, or compatible
printer without an upgrade kit.

The software comes with 35 PostScript-compatible fonts that you
can rotate and scale to any size. It has such disk-management
capabilities as a batching feature that lets you print multiple
files unattended.

Freedom of Press runs on the IBM AT and 80386 computers with
640K bytes of RAM, 512K bytes of EMS memory, DOS 2.1, and a
hard-disk drive with at least 4 megabytes of available memory.
The software supports math coprocessors for higher speed and runs
with applications that can create PostScript-language-compatible
output.

Price: 1098 Swiss francs.
