SAS Institute is developing a version of its SAS System to run
under the OS/2 Presentation Manager, the company says. The
program will feature data management, statistical analysis,
report writing, graphics, decision support, and applications
development, while taking advantage of all OS/2 PM features,
including multitasking.
 
The company said the program should be available in the second
quarter of 1990 and will run on the IBM PC AT with OS/2 1.1, a
hard-disk drive, and 6 megabytes.
 
Price: $695 for a one year, one workstation license; $330 for
renewal, quantity discounts are available.
