If you've been looking for a high-resolution color monitor that
doesn't cost an arm and a leg, Digivision's Magus might be for
you. The monitor works with most personal computers and is
particularly suited for applications in which high resolution is
required, such as CAD and desktop publishing.

The large screen (500 mm or 20 inches diagonally) offers a
resolution of up to 1160 by 870 pixels, so it can display even
fine details. The horizontal frequency range is 15.5 to 37 kHz,
while the vertical frequency range is 48 to 90 kHz. This
variation in the frequencies means that when you use the Magus
monitor with a multistandard computer, such as the Acorn
Archimedes, it can automatically adjust to display whatever
format the computer sends.

The Magus monitor has a dot pitch of 0.31 mm and supports VGA,
EGA, MDA, MCGA, CGA, and Hercules graphics standards. It comes on
a tilt-and-swivel stand.

Price: L1100.
