Proteon's p1345 network interface card connects IBM ATs with its
ProNET-4 IEEE 802.5 token-ring LAN. It operates at 4 megabits per
second.

The card's bus-master implementation provides faster and more
efficient data transfers, increased throughput, and greater
computer utilization than non-bus-master adapters. It is fully
compatible with industry standards, including FTP Software's
TCP/IP, Novell's NetWare, and Banyan's VINES.

The card has one 16-bit IBM AT peripheral-slot mounting and one
ProNET-4 9-pin D-sub-type connector. It also offers 18K bytes of
onboard memory, expandable to 30K bytes.

Price: L450.
