The F20/DX 20-MHz 80386 and F16/SX 16-MHz 80386SX are both Micro
Channel-based desktop systems. Each comes standard with three
32-bit MCA slots, your choice of SCSI hard disk drives, a
3.5-inch floppy-disk drive, VGA graphics drivers, a 101-key
keyboard, your choice of monitors, and a BIOS based on the
Phoenix design.
 
On the 20-MHz 80386, your basic system will have 4 megabytes of
RAM (upgradable to 8 on the motherboard and 32 with MCA cards),
an 80-megabyte 19-millisecond hard disk drive and a monochrome
VGA paper-white display system. You can opt for a 140-megabyte
SCSI drive and a 14-inch color VGA analog monitor.
 
The SX system comes with 1 megabyte of RAM (upgradable to 4 on
the motherboard and 16 with add-in cards), an 80-megabyte SCSI
hard disk drive, and either monitor. You can also opt for a
lower-capacity 40-megabyte SCSI hard-disk drive.
 
Price: Base F20/DX, $7045; DX with color, $$7445; DX with
140-megabyte hard-disk drive, $8250; base SX with 80-megabyte
hard-disk drive, $4325; SX with 80-megabyte drive and color,
$4725; SX with color and 40-megabyte hard-disk drive, $4260.
