INTRODUCTION
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Space Quest 2112 started back in the old day of the BBS just like many door games.
It was quite popular and extremely well liked. Then, as most of you know, a Nuke
hit the BBS world and this Nuke had a name, The Internet. Well, the smoke and dust
has settled and new BBS life is growing back.

SQ2112 was a dos game w/ only Com support back in the old days. The new BBS packages
of today relies on doors that offer fossil support. This once again doomed SQ2112.
So the search for the original programmer started. My original goal was to find the
programmer, ask if he/she still had the source code in hopes that they could code in
fossil support. This would enable it to once again live on the modern BBS software
of today.

After a few months of looking around on the Internet I found her. And I was quite
surprised that not only did she pick the SQ2112 program back up, but it was ported to
32bit code and a telnet game server was also implemented.

HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Space Quest 2112 is not your typical Little Old Lady type of game. It's a real
time graphically intense door game with multiple people wiping out planets, taking
over star ships, trading at star ports, warping through worm holes, etc.

Broadband connection is recommended for hosting and connecting to a SQGS. But, I'm
sure a few dialup people could also enjoy the game.

FAQ
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Q: Can I run this program just like a door? I see door32.sys support in the config menu?
A: No, not yet. This is work in progress. But, many BBS programs of today can offer
Telneting to other systems. So, you can be running your BBS and SQGS on the same
   computer, just different ports.

Q: I don't run windows! what about a DOS version?
A: Email me at sysop@x-bit.org and ask me about a DOS version.

Q: Why only two FAQ's??
A: Access http://x-bit.org/sq2112.htm for more :)
